We arrived without any drama – can definitely recommend coming through Hawaii, we didn’t suffer any jet lag at all!
On Sunday it was the 75th anniversary of the opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. To celebrate, it was closed to cars and over 200,000 people walked across. The atmosphere was fantastic. Our whole family (except my brother and his family who are in perth) walked it together, including my 97 year old grandmother who was there the day it was opened.
We were all given green caps to wear and the effect was pretty cool – you can see the sea of green in the pictures below.

We’re staying with mum and really enjoying ourselves. Next on the to-do list is to buy a car and get a mobile phone. We will visit the animals tomorrow at the quarantine station, hopefully they won’t be too angry with us. They still have about 25 more days to go.

Hooray! So glad you two arrived safely and are already spending quality time with the family. Can’t wait to see how the animals react to seeing the two of you. : )
Love and hugs,
Amy
